SMC Dresses!

Sorry everybody that I haven't been on here in awhile!
I have been even busier than normal
But here is an exciting update :)
My boyfriend, Jake, and I are moving to Phoenix, AZ in a couple months :)

It will be a big change, but we are excited to start a new life together and on our own
We both have lived in Southern California our whole lives
But it is time for a change
He is starting at a motorcycle mechanic training school in July to become a Harley Davidson mechanic :)
We will both be transferring jobs and going to school online as well

We looked at apartments yesterday and have narrowed the search down to two!

I am very excited but sort of nervous about leaving my family
But this is just something we have to do and of course we will come back for holidays

I think I am beginning to hear wedding bells in my head!
With so many of my friends getting engaged lately, and my cousin getting married in two weeks
it desperately makes me wish and hope that soon enough it will be my turn.
My boyfriend and I talk about it constantly, but we do not know when the right time will be to get engaged and then start planning the wedding. My first instinct is to wait till after I graduate CBU next year.
But then again, I am incredibly impatient!
I want a ring.
-LOL-
But all in all, I love my boyfriend and I know that he is the guy I am going to marry. I just need to learn to be patient and let God control this.
It is definitely hard with my wedding dress business because I see brides daily so excited for their big day to come, and I am over here thinking what about me.
Yes I just turned 21 so I need to wait, but why wait when you found the person you want to be with for life?

Be sure in your decision and in your commitment. Divorce should not be an option or an escape. My parents divorced after having five kids together and it broke up. Luckily my dad remarried and he has found his true soul mate. While my mother is alone. Really take a deep look into your relationship and future spouse and ask yourself the question, "can you live without them," if the answer is yes then walk away. If the answer is no then you possibly have found your true match in life. I have found mine, have you?

This is so precious! You take the sand and sea shells from the beach where you had your honeymoon and make a Christmas tree ornament. That way you will always have that physical memory with you.

Hey everybody :)
My birthday was yesterday and I've been pretty busy with both my jobs and trying to celebrate my 21st.
I spent yesterday at knotts berry farm with my boyfriend and just hung out all day and had a great dinner with his family and had my first glass of wine
And today I'm going to dinner with my mom and brother :)

We welcome April in with gracious pleasure

I apologize for not posting as much as I have before but let me just tell you I have been crazy busy these last couple weeks
I hope all of you had a joyous Easter celebration :)
I have been working full time at Starbucks and still running SMC while going to school full time so as you can imagine I am one busy girl!
and my 21st birthday is this Friday so I am getting very excited

SMC has slowed down in business this past week, but we are thinking it is about to pick way up for summer orders flowing in.
We are very blessed to be getting alot more viewers and more prospective clients so keep spreading the word! We greatly appreciate it!

If you guys are anything like me, my week days are very busy as I am constantly on the go!
Even though I also work at Starbucks and work on the weekends I am still very thankful for even an hour break!

SMC is doing great things as of now and we are very blessed to be continually getting more and more clients and prospective clients which means the world to us.

Next to picking out a wedding dress, perhaps the most stressful part of planning the wedding is the seating arrangement for a reception. Here is a simple seating chart that could minimize the stress by color coordinating family and friends.
Or you could leave it up to the guests where they want would wish to sit. This is becoming more common in today's weddings.

Hey Everyone! Sorry I haven't been on here in a while, but here at SMC we have been crazy busy!

SMC hosted a local Bridal Show in San Bernardino last weekend and since then our client list has gone through the roof!

We sold three prom dresses
We are doing a fitting for a wedding gown this weekend and that bride also wants our bridesmaids dresses.
We are so lucky and blessed to be getting so much business lately

Here at SMC we strive to make our clients at ease during their dress experience
We minimize the stress that is commonly involved in choosing your wedding dress and/or bridesmaids dresses to match your vision
We show off a majority of our dresses online but not all
A client can stroll through photos of dresses and choose any or all styles that she wants to try
We then bring all those samples dresses directly to her for a fitting to see if she particularly likes any of those
If she does find a dress she loves we take her measurements and get it custom ordered and will be ready in about a month
If she does not like any of the ones brought, we have many options to find more
We can look through catalogs, websites, or in stores to find the perfect dress for you and we will give you the best price!

We are busy getting things ready for the bridal show and starting to get into the busiest time of year for weddings and brides doing buying their last minute dresses
But that is quite alright with us because unlike most other wedding dress retailers, we do not need to order the dress 6 months ahead of time. We only need about a month to get it ordered and altered to perfection

Yesterday's fashion show was a sure success!
We showed more than 30 different dresses and strutted our stuff in front of a huge crowd in two different fashion shows
Our models were awesome and looked amazing!
So far we have potentially about 6 new interested clients so we're crossing our fingers!

New year, new engagements, new weddings to plan.
This year is particularly a special one for us.
My cousin is getting married in May, and I am starting to plan my own wedding.
It is so exciting to be apart of every decision in a wedding, rather than just making suggestions and offers.
So many decisions and ideas pouring in. I feel like my mind is just exploding with creativity and inspiration.
